Philosophy
Seeing how people express their imagination through art intrigues me and makes me want to try to help out or motivate those people. Witnessing people get enjoyment in making art, whether it is the process or the end result creates joy in my heart. With these notes in mind, my intentional career goal is to become a high school teacher to help motivate the young minds in an artistic way. Students yearn for a way of improving their skills because everyone is born an artist we just lose are skills through the years. So I want to help the artists improve their techniques in a welcoming, encouraging, and empowering environment so that they feel the urge to continue learning. All it takes is one spark and the artist is awakened again. My moment for example, was in the third grade when I discovered I was good at drawing because of a naked female I drew for a friend that was going to pay me two dollars; I still remember I wanted to buy ice-cream with that money. It was later confiscated by my teacher during silent reading time and shown to the entire class that gave "wows" as reactions instead of laughs. This made me feel so good that I continued to learn ways to do art. Now I want to help students find that self-accomplish moment that will allow them to continue feel confident in pursing their interests.
